What is the required deposit to secure a booking?
To confirm your booking at Villa Moana, a 50% deposit of the total rental cost is required. This secures your dates and ensures the property is held exclusively for your event. A further security deposit of 20% is due, which acts as a safeguard against potential damages or extra cleaning. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least two months prior to the start of your rental period. All payments must be made via bank transfer in Euros.

What happens to my security deposit after our stay?
Your 20% security deposit will be refunded in full within two weeks of your departure, provided there is no damage to the property or its contents. The villa is maintained to an exceptional standard, and all guests are expected to return it in the same condition in which it was received. In the event of any damage, breakages, or excessive cleaning requirements, deductions may be made from the deposit. A post-stay inspection will be carried out to assess the property.

Villa Moana has a strict cancellation policy due to the exclusive nature of the property. No refunds are offered within four months of the scheduled arrival date. Additionally, 25% of your initial booking deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unforeseen changes to their plans. These policies help ensure the property is available for guests who are fully committed to their wedding or event.

Are there minimum stay requirements for weddings or events?
Yes, Villa Moana requires a minimum stay depending on the season. During July and August, the minimum booking is 7 consecutive nights due to high demand and the desire to give clients ample time to enjoy the estate. For the rest of the year, a 4-night minimum stay applies. This allows for a relaxed wedding experience with enough time to set up, host the event, and wind down afterwards. These stay durations apply to all event bookings and are non-negotiable.

In addition to the standard rental fee, a non-refundable event surcharge of €5,000 applies to all weddings and events hosted at Villa Moana.
